Sakir Gokcebag and the Art of Everyday Objects: Turning Ordinary into Extra-Ordinary

2/10/2018

Sakir Gokcebag is a Turkish artist based in Berlin. He takes everyday objects, including umbrellas, carpets, and shoes, which have been cut up, rearranged, reassembled, and reproduced in various constellations. It is very much a work of taking everyday objects and re-arranging them in ways that make up an artistic narrative.
