Carl Hammoud is a Swedish artists based in Stockholm. A lot of his work focuses on the basic elements to create order in modern life. Many of these are also classic formal organizational elements such as records, folders, paper, labels, etc that represent well the building blocks of bureaucratic administration. As an Edward Hopper of offices, Hammoud brings to the fore the infrastructure of formal organization and gives front-row to the organizational 'things' which we usually take for granted.
